Mr. Jess Hoffman first joined AFCEA with the London, England Chapter in the fall of 1957. Mr. Hoffman remained with the London Chapter for three years. Upon returning stateside, Mr. Hoffman joined AFCEA again, but this time as a member of the Offutt AFB Chapter in October 1963. Since that time, Mr. Hoffman continued his involvement and remained an active member of the Omaha Chapter. Mr. Hoffman served as the Chapter President from 1973 to 1974, and as the Education Committee Chairman from 1977 until 1987.
Advisory Areas: Mr. Hoffman contributed to every facet of chapter operations. His tenure as Education Committee Chairman allowed Jess to provide critical insight into the chapter's history and tradition regarding scholarships.
Mr. Hoffman always helped keep the chapter leadership motivated with a kind word. He thoroughly enjoyed working with many great AFCEAN's throughout his lifetime. Jess passed away in 2005 and will be sorely missed.
