Advisory Areas: Susan reviewed all the chapter files while she was secretary and created a history of the chapter. She also updated the chapter by-laws to reflect how meetings and voting were done in the electronic age. Some key advisory areas include:
Community Partnerships (Schools, YWCA, Old Crows, AFA, Aim Institute, NEbraskaCERT, GAIT, Destination Imagination, Science Fairs, USE-IT Advisory Board
History (set up 40th anniversary celebration--including inviting past presidents and board members to the gala event, updated rosters, etc.
Symposiums (Led two symposiums, created an Industry Day, led speaker committee
Awards (Wrote all awards from 1999-2002; model chapter winner for 2002, received 2 Albert Myer awards for retention and achievement, one Emerging Leader, two DYAs, recognized local winners in every category, plus personally won an International DYA in 1996 and the Meritorious Service Award in 2003, and was the Chapter AFCEAn of the year 1997 and 2000.
